WORLD AND PANHELLENIC RECORDS AT THE NATIONAL SCORING RANGE OF CHANIA
On the weekend of June 27-28, 2020, the SHOOTING CLUB OF CRETE (SKO.LE.K) in collaboration with the SHOOTING FEDERATION OF GREECE (SKOE) organized the Panhellenic TRAP Games and the Greek TRAP-SKET Cup Games at the National Shooting Range of Chania. Despite the two-month abstention of shooters due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games were a huge competitive and organizational success. A very great performance by the shooter MAKIS MITA (VARDAS) with a tie for the Panhellenic SKET record with 124/125, one of the best performances for 2020 in the world, as well as the fantastic performance of the club's shooter EMMANOUELA KATZOURAKI (SKOLEK) in the Women's-Youth SKET with a performance of 123/125 which is a new Panhellenic record in her category and a tie for the World Youth SKET record. An amazing result from a young girl for whom Greek shooting expects a lot. The other members of the Men's National SKIT Teams also brought high performances, specifically GOGOLAKIS IOANNIS (VARDAS) 121/125, CHALKIADAKIS CHARALAMPOS (VARDAS) 119/125 as well as the club's teenage shooters FRATZESKAKIS NIKOS 115/125 and NIKOLANTONAKIS EPHRAIM 113/125 with 5or and 6or position respectively in OVERALL, 1or and 2nd place in the Youth category. The surprise in the TRAP games came from the club's veteran shooter ELPIKIDIS MICHALIS – who has been away from games in recent years and with minimal training before the games – with a performance of 113/125 came 1th in Category A, 5th in the Panhellenic final and 2th in the Cup match in OVERALL. On the 2or 3rd place in the Greek Cup in the B' category TRAP was taken by TSOUVALAKIS NIKOS, also an athlete of the club, with 95/125. On the 3rdor The club's TRAP team took 1st place in the Panhellenic Team with a performance of 308/375 with shooters ELPIKIDIS MICHALIS, ZYMVRAGOUDAKIS PANAGIOTIS and TSOUVALAKIS NIKO.
At the closing ceremony of the games, in a modest ceremony, the Veteran shooter of the TRAP National Teams, PANAGIOTIS NIKAS, was awarded. A great athlete, a "lord" who left a great legacy to TRAP with his journey
