As the Administration of the Chania Regional Public Health Authority, we would like to thank and at the same time congratulate the Region of Crete and the Deputy Governor of Chania, Mr. Nikolaos Kalogeri, for the expected supply and installation of an air pollution sensor at the National Stadium of Chania.
As Mr. Kalogeris informed us, the procurement and installation of an air pollution sensor at the National Stadium of Chania is in the bid evaluation phase. The installation will be done inside the intersection of Korai and El. Venizelou streets and the cost amounts to approximately €300,000 from resources of the Region of Crete. It is worth noting that this sensor is the only one in the prefecture of Chania.
As the administration of the Chania Public Health Authority, we are completely in agreement with the choice of installation location and, in addition, we decided to purchase an electrical panel, immediately after installing the sensor, to display the measurements.
This is an excellent initiative by the Deputy Governor of Chania that constitutes added value for the Prefecture of Chania. A 15-year-old pending project is in the implementation phase.
The President of the Chania Regional Council
Emmanuel Kouridakis
