Work on the pillars of the National Stadium of Chania continues uninterrupted, without affecting sports activity at the facility during the afternoon and evening hours.
With the help of crane vehicles, maintenance and painting of the pylons began yesterday.
At the same time, electricians are working internally on the pylons, in order to make the necessary connections for the new lighting fixtures.
It is recalled that after the completion of maintenance and the end of the clubs' obligations, the stadium will be completely closed, in order to construct the new substation and conduct a targeting study of the new lighting clubs, which will be controlled electronically, with different lighting programs to cover the playing field in each sport.
