[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ο Υφυπουργός αθλητισμού κ. Γιώργος Βασιλειάδης υπέγραψε την μελέτη συντήρησης των εγκαταστάσεων του Εθνικού Σταδίου Χανίων και πλέον αναμένεται η ανακήρυξη του διαγωνισμού για την ανάληψη του έργου από εργολάβο.
The maintenance work of the National Stadium includes.
- The removal, maintenance and reinstallation of the railings of the external fence of the National Stadium. As is known, these railings had been installed since 1936 and since then the necessary maintenance had never been carried out.
- The complete reconstruction of approximately 25 columns where the railings are supported and maintenance of the rest
- The maintenance of the Gym room located in the basement of the Tennis Center
- The maintenance of the Weightlifting room located under the stands of the National Stadium.
- The installation of two prefabricated buildings that will include toilets and changing rooms for the public, athletes and the disabled, as well as offices.
The implementation of this project is expected to significantly improve both the appearance and the essential functioning of the National Stadium. The new spaces will also provide the opportunity for the complete upgrade of the Stadium's infirmary.
Immediately after the completion of the project, a tender will be announced for the construction of the preheating area on the east side of the stadium, which will include four tartan tracks and the placement of jump pits at the beginning and end of the tracks.
