The passage in Parliament of the amendment to the building conditions, so that the next steps for the reconstruction of the Chania swimming pool can proceed, concerns exclusively and solely the existing sports facility.
After 40 years it is the first time which is a comprehensive and targeted effort by the Deputy Ministry of Sports for this specific sports facility, with secured funds and addressing urban planning issues.
The timetable for the work at the Chania swimming pool will be given in March, when the OAK is ready to present the studies it has undertaken and are completing.
