As the Management Committee of the Chania Swimming Association, we would like to express our warmest congratulations to the European Swimming Champion, Anna Dountounaki, for winning the Gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly.
Both the Gold Medal and the new national record are the vindication of hard training and strenuous effort for the great athlete, as well as scientist, from Chania.
Anna, thank you for filling Chania, Crete and all of Greece with joy and pride!
