A technical meeting on the preparation of the studies undertaken by the Development Organization of Crete, at the National Nautical Center of Chania [Nea Chora swimming pool], was held on Wednesday 27/10/2021 in the office of the CEO of the O.A.K. Mr. Aris Papadogiannis.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Chania Nautical Club [N.O.C.] Mr. Dimitris Leipsakis, the President of the National Sports Center of Chania [E.A.K.] Mr. Takis Svourakis, executives of the O.A.K. and representatives of the services involved, related to the study work.
During the meeting, it became clear that the procedures are moving at a satisfactory pace and within the agreed timetable. The proposals submitted by the N.O.C. and the E.A.K. were also discussed, regarding the zoning of the uses of the National Nautical Center of Chania, which are now at the disposal of the O.A.K., so that they can be taken into account in the course of the studies.
"We are now at a fairly satisfactory level, with regard to the execution of the project that we have undertaken as OAK at the Chania Swimming Pool. Overall, the cooperation of the bodies involved in this is characterized as productive. We are closely monitoring the progress of the work at both a technical and operational level and we are optimistic that our "common goal" will be achieved," said the CEO of the Crete Development Organization, Mr. Aris Papadogiannis.
