The crane entered the National Stadium of Chania and work began on targeting the electric lighting pylons.

At the same time, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, the electricity supply to the stadium will be completely cut off, in order to allow work to be done on the new substation, as all the material has already been received.

The Deputy Mayor for Culture, Yiannis Giannakakis, was also at the National Stadium, and he collaborated with the president of the Municipal Council, Takis Svourakis, on the issue of lighting, as the spotlights that were used until a few months ago were "entering" the municipal cinema "Kipos".

The work will be completed by the end of the month and the new electric lighting is expected to be operational within the next two weeks.
