We are creating a "Register of Sports Bodies", technology and IT at the services of the sports family
The digital world is rapidly spreading in our country, technology and IT are being put at the service of the sports family and our sports are rapidly entering the digital age.
A "Register of Sports Bodies" is being created at the General Secretariat of Sports, an initiative that is also linked to the planned direct and indirect support measures, from the coronavirus pandemic, to the restart of amateur sports.
This is the first official recording of all amateur sports clubs in Greece.
By order of the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Lefteris Avgenakis, the Directorate of Competitive Sports of the General Secretariat of Sports, on Monday, April 13, requested from the 48 sports Federations to update the contact details of their member Clubs and Associations, as part of the necessary preparatory actions for the creation and operation of the electronic Register of Sports Bodies.
As of today, Thursday, May 7, the following 21 have responded:

At the same time, however, from May 15, the pre-registration platform for sports clubs for the creation of the "Register of Sports Bodies" will be implemented on the website of the General Secretariat of Sports (www.gga.gr).
With the unique code of the Special Sports Identification of each club, its legal representative will be asked to fill in a series of details on the pre-registration platform:
To declare, among other things, the Articles of Association and the members of the Board of Directors, the list of the club's members, the financial data (budget - report), tax and insurance information, all of its active athletes, the contracts with its coaches, the sports facilities it uses and their costs, any pending legal matters, etc.
