The Management Committee of the Chania Athletics Association would like to express warm congratulations to the Chania athletes for the significant distinctions they have achieved in recent days.
- In the Christiana Skylouraki where she managed to be crowned world champion in Technical swimming, in the 400m underwater event in Lignano, Italy, the first for a Greek athlete in the 11 years in the history of the event!
- In the Dimitra Gnafaki, both for third place in the 400m hurdles, surpassing herself and her personal record, and for fourth place in the 4x400 relay, which the Greek women's team won, with its participation, in the European Team Championship.
- In the Christos Frantzeskakis for the 2or place and the silver medal in the hammer throw at the European Team Championship!
Warm congratulations also to their coaches, who were close to the athletes with wisdom, experience and inspiration.
Once again, you make us proud and prove that talent exists and with stubbornness, patience and perseverance, the future belongs to you!
