The Board of Directors of the EAK Chania congratulates our National Skeet Shooting Team, coached by the Chanian World Champion, Giorgos Salavantakis, for winning the bronze medal at the World Cup held in Lonato, Italy.
The Greek National Team defeated the USA in the bronze medal match in the men's team event.
Nikos Mavrommatis, Charalambos Chalkiadakis (from Chania) and Makis Mitas prevailed 6-4 over the Americans after a thriller match, where they found themselves behind 0-2, tied at 2-2, found themselves behind again in the 3rd round and tied at 4-4 in the 4th.
