The new lights on the pillars of the National Stadium of Chania were turned on on Monday evening.
The electric lighting project has been completed, as has the new substation.
The new system is used through a special panel, with seven different programs for each sport held at the stadium.
At the same time, the new lighting with LED lamps will save a lot of money on the facility's electricity bills.
