The president and the Board of Directors of the Chania Athletics Association congratulate the Chania athletes of our National Athletics Team for their efforts and their successes at the European Championships in Munich.
Faithful to the big hammer throw events, Christos Frantzeskakis qualified for the final of the event. Michalis Anastasakis was unlucky with his injury problem. Congratulations to both Chania natives, who are always present at the big events, lifting us a little higher.
Dimitra Gnafaki is also overcoming the… obstacles to the final, as she qualified for the semi-finals of her event with a personal record. Well done Dimitra!
