Despite the adverse weather conditions, the project to upgrade the energy efficiency of the electric lighting at the National Stadium of Chania began on Friday morning.
However, due to the intensity of the weather conditions, the work was interrupted shortly after 10.
The contractor's crews will resume work today as soon as weather permits, while work will continue throughout the weekend.
