In the past, the temporary lighting that existed covered the needs that arose, but the time came when it had to be removed.
The Municipal Board of Chania proceeded to install lighting fixtures around the perimeter of the stadium, as well as at a height of about half of the pylons, in order to illuminate the space as best as possible, until newer permanent lighting (pylons) is available.
From the very beginning, it was our concern that there would not be even a single day when the sports community of our city would not be able to use the facility during the evening hours.
The 20,000 euro works have been completed and we now hope that the "green" light will be given immediately for the installation of the lighting fixtures. led on the pillars, so that our National Stadium can be illuminated as it deserves.
