The presidents of the clubs had an information meeting on the issues and problems faced by the clubs that use the National Shooting Range of Chania, as well as on the issues of the facility in general, with the member of the Board of Directors of the National Shooting Range of Chania, responsible for the Shooting Range, Vangelis Lampakis.
The meeting took place in a very good atmosphere and a field of understanding and cooperation was identified, as it was emphasized that everyone is on the same side, wanting the good of the athletes and the improvement of the infrastructure.
The positive thing is that as a former shooting athlete and user of the facility, Mr. Lampakis knows the needs that exist and the… common ground with his interlocutors.
The presidents of the clubs raised a series of issues for the National Shooting Range that require immediate action, in view of the "Battle of Crete" games.
At the same time, Mr. Lampakis emphasized that some of the issues raised have already been addressed.
Finally, it was emphasized that a direct channel of communication and cooperation is being opened and there will be regular meetings and updates.
