It is with great joy and satisfaction that we would like to inform you that the Programmatic Agreement between the National Sports Center (NAC) of Chania and the Region of Crete with the subject of "IMPROVEMENT – MAINTENANCE OF SPORTS FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE» between the legal representatives, Emmanuel Kouridakis and Stavros Arnaoutakis.
The subject of the Contract is the implementation of the following sub-projects:
- 3rd Subproject «MAINTENANCE AND RESTORATION WORKS OF WOODEN FLOORS AND REPLACEMENT OF GLASS PANELS AND FRAMES OF AN INDOOR GYM IN CHANIA», budget €70,000.00 including VAT.
- This subproject includes maintenance and restoration work on the 700m2 X 15m2 wooden floor, as well as replacement work on glass panels and frames at the Chania Indoor Gymnasium.
- 4th Subproject «SUPPLY OF AN OLYMPIC SPORT MATTRESS “SHOCK LEAPING”, TWO POSTS AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE NATIONAL STADIUM OF CHANIA», budget €36,200.00 including VAT.
- This subproject includes the supply of the following equipment for the Olympic sport "SHOCK DIVE" at the National Stadium of Chania:
- Pole vault mat, 8.50X6.00X0.80 m. (mattress, antispike duvet, weather cover) with IAAF certification (1 set)
- Pole vaulting mat base, pole vaulting posts (1 pc.)
- IAAF certified pole vaulting poles (1 pair)
- Pillar pillar protector on pole (1 pair)
- Pole pillar base protector (1 pair)
- 5th Subproject «SUPPLY OF GOALS AND TIMERS FOR THE CHANIA NAVAL SPORTS CENTER», budget €8,000.00 including VAT.
- This subproject includes the supply of a pair of large goals and a pair of small goals to meet the needs of training sessions and water polo matches, as well as two electronic timers, which are absolutely necessary for the conduct of the A1 men's water polo matches, as well as for the other Panhellenic championships.
- 6th Subproject «SUPPLY OF A SCOREBOARD FOR THE CHANIA INDOOR GYM», budget €11,000.00 including VAT.
- This sub-project includes the supply of a scoreboard, based on FIBA's technical specifications.
Project owner is the National Sports Center of Chania.
Implementing Body and Contracting Authority is the Regional Unit of Chania of the Region of Crete.
Funding Agency is the Region of Crete.
THE project budget amounts to a total of 125,200.00 euros (including VAT).
Our goal is to strengthen and promote sports and improve the quality of life of citizens and we warmly thank the Deputy Governor of Chania, Mr. Nikos Kalogeris and the Region of Crete for their decisive contribution.
The works described constitute very important projects for the necessary upgrade of the facilities of the E.A.K. Chania, which will contribute from the training of athletes to the holding of internationally renowned competitions.
