The Chania Municipal Sports and Recreation Authority informs that work has begun at the National Stadium of Chania for the targeting of lighting, which is being carried out by a specialized team.
This is a necessary and particularly important task, which is a continuation of the replacement of the floodlights on the stadium pillars and aims to correctly adjust and direct the new lighting on the playing field.
The work is expected to last until the first days of September and is being carried out based on the relevant planning and with the consent of the associations that use the facility.
For safety reasons and while the work is ongoing, the public and athletes are strictly prohibited from entering the National Stadium area.
The Chania Municipal Health and Safety Authority asks for everyone's understanding and cooperation until the completion of the work, which is necessary for the safe and smooth operation of the facility.
