The National Sports Center of Chania actively participates in and supports the holding of the international track and field meeting "Venizelia - Chania 2026", a top sports event that for another year brings the city of Chania to the epicenter of Greek and international classical sports.
In the context of the official press conference held at the premises of the Chania Regional Cultural Center, the president of the administration of the Regional Cultural Center, Sofia Tsismenaki, as well as the secretary, Manolis Kouridakis, participated, expressing the organization's support for the organization.
In her greeting, Ms. Tsismenaki described the Venizelia as a great celebration of sports and especially classical sports, underlining the importance of the presence of more than 350 top athletes in Chania. At the same time, she wished good luck to all participants, congratulating the organizers for the long-term effort they are making to upgrade the games.
He also made special mention of the president of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Isidoros Kouvelos, thanking him for the support that both he and the Hellenic Olympic Committee offer to the organization and to Greek sports in general.
The Chania Sports and Athletics Association wishes good luck to all the athletes who will participate in the "Venizelia - Chania 2026" and invites the sports audience to give a strong "presence" at the National Stadium of Chania, supporting with its presence an international event that honors the city and Greek sports.
